DT Hughes Contractors awarded Multi Million Pound Contact with Scottish Power

A four year contract has been signed this week after a 10 month procurement process that considered quality and value for money. DT Hughes have been selected as the successful contractor for a multi million pound Framework agreement to carry out underground cable maintenance and renewal of services throughout the Wirral district on behalf of Scottish Power.

Over the last 3 years DT Hughes have been working as a sub contractor on the SP Energy Network growing the company from strength to strength. This process seen the company gain industry recognised accreditations including their NERS upto 33kv authorisation. DT Hughes have showed their capability to delivery a great service and achieve promising results by being awarded this contract.

From 16th November 2015, DT Hughes will manage 100% of planned and reactive low voltage to 33Kv cabling works. By assisting Scottish Power to maintain the integrity of their network, DT Hughes are helping to provide a continual supply of energy to the Wirral district.
