Over the past decade, we have expanded our service offering, secured major contracts, established ourselves as a leading provider across the North West and Liverpool City Region, and begun building a footprint that now extends far beyond our home region.
While we are proud of what we have achieved, we remain focused on maintaining the values that got us here.

A New Look for a New Chapter

As we celebrate this significant anniversary, we are also proud to unveil a complete rebrand.
Our new identity reflects the company we have become, modern, progressive and ambitious, while remaining true to the values that have guided us from the beginning.
Alongside our new brand, we have moved into a new office environment, within the Knowsley Borough, designed to support our growing team, enhance collaboration and provide the infrastructure needed for the next phase of our journey.
This is more than a new logo and a new building. It is a statement of intent.

"Ten years ago, Site Safe Traffic Solutions was launched with a very simple vision: to become the leading service provider in the Liverpool City Region.
We started with very little, just four sets of traffic lights, a small office space and a huge amount of determination. What we did have was experience, belief, and a commitment to building genuine relationships with both our customers and our people.

Looking back today, I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved together. We have grown from a small start-up into a recognised industry leader, operating across the region and increasingly across the UK. However, our success has never been measured purely by growth. It has always been about the people who make this business what it is.

I want to thank every single person who has contributed to our journey. Those who were with us on day one, those who are part of the team today, and those who have moved on to other opportunities. Every individual has played a role in shaping our business and our success.

To our customers, thank you for your trust and continued support. Many of you have been with us throughout this journey, and we remain committed to delivering the service, quality and reliability that you expect from us.
As we look ahead, our focus remains clear. We will continue to invest in our people, strengthen our customer relationships, retain the values that define us and expand our geographical reach whilst maintaining the high standards that have helped us build our reputation.

Celebrating 10 Years: Phil Jones & Andy Woods Reflect on the Journey

"The People Behind the Progress"

As we celebrate ten years of Site Safe Traffic Solutions, it is only right that we recognise some of the people who have helped build the business from the very beginning.
Two individuals who have been part of the journey since day one are General Manager Phil Jones and Depot Supervisor Andy Woods. Their experiences reflect the determination, teamwork and resilience that have defined our first decade.

Phil Jones – General Manager

"Building Something from Nothing"

When Phil reflects on the company's early days, he remembers the scale of the challenge that lay ahead:
"Looking at the challenge and how much work was ahead to try and make it a success."
At the time, the business was still taking shape. Systems, processes, customers and reputation all had to be built from the ground up.
For Phil, reaching ten years carries special significance.
"The longest job I'd had in the previous 30 years was six years, so reaching 10 years is a big achievement."
One of the achievements he is most proud of has been helping establish Site Safe as a preferred traffic management contractor for several local authorities, a reflection of years of consistent service and dedication.

"Success Comes from Teamwork"

Throughout the years, Phil has championed a culture where people feel supported, involved and valued.
"The freedom to integrate a good team work ethic throughout the whole business."
When asked what has kept him motivated, the answer is simple:
"The continued ambition to be successful in my own day-to-day objectives and ensuring our teams have consistent work and support."
His message to the team is heartfelt:
"Thank you for your support over the last 10 years. Without that support, the business wouldn't be where it is today."

"Doing Whatever It Took"

Andy's first memories of Site Safe perfectly capture the spirit of the early days.
"We used a plant hire van from DTH to put the first job out. I took a wrong turn, the van couldn't get up the hill, but we made it work."
Like many start-ups, success wasn't built on perfect conditions. It was built on determination, adaptability and a willingness to overcome challenges.
Over the last decade, Andy has progressed from Traffic Management Operative to Depot Supervisor, growing alongside the business itself.
"I've grown with the company over the years and hope to continue to grow."

"One Team, One Goal"

For Andy, teamwork has always been at the heart of Site Safe's culture.
"I don't think the culture has changed. It's always had a good team-working environment."
Reflecting on the company's success, he credits the people around him and the standards they maintain every day.
"One person can't do everything, and we wouldn't be where we are today without everyone."

Whilst the last ten years have provided plenty of reasons to celebrate, our focus remains firmly on the future.
With a new brand, a new office, expanding geographical reach and an exceptional team behind us, Site Safe Traffic Solutions enters its next chapter with confidence and ambition.
